Stage 3

Validation and corroboration of raised up results from measuring and validation activities - Part I

This phase has been split in two phases, its second part being extended to 2015.
The main objective of this phase is to validate collaborative methods and e-infrastructure implemented methods for education, training, investigation, diagnosis and research for cultural heritage conservation. A very important particularity of this stage consists in the demonstration and the launch of the advanced training form as permanent available instrument.

LIF teleoperation training and tests with the Vienna cluster

In March, this year, Ulrich Pacher from the Technical University of Vienna, has been trained for the LIF scanning device: spectra aquisition, scanning parameters and remote control.

In April, Ulrich Pacher trained a group of master students from the Technical University of Vienna in order to access via the Internet the LIF scanning device. They remotely investigate a 17th century parchment representing a musical sheet.

In May Laurentiu Angheluta, Dragos Ene and Alexandru Chelmus went to Vienna to assist and discuss the presentation of the results from the remote investigations
