Stage 3

Validation and corroboration of raised up results from measuring and validation activities - Part I

This phase has been split in two phases, its second part being extended to 2015.
The main objective of this phase is to validate collaborative methods and e-infrastructure implemented methods for education, training, investigation, diagnosis and research for cultural heritage conservation. A very important particularity of this stage consists in the demonstration and the launch of the advanced training form as permanent available instrument.

Course organized by INPPC-CPPC in collaboration with INOE 2000: "Cultural Heritage Restorer - Module II"

The partner research group from National University of Arts Bucharest, also attendant of ICCROM course “Communication and Teaching skills in Conservation Science” is implementing models of good practice regarding the teaching in the field of restoration and conservation, implicitly in the improvement of the teaching methods of the thematic/program and of the presentation of accumulated materials within this project and on its platform.

The course comprised four presentations including: infrastructure and project presentation, ablation applications, online access and remote control of investigation devices, FTIR theory and applications and ground penetrating radar general presentation. After these presentations the group was divided in three smaller groups and were 'toured' through INOE 2000 laboratory. Small demonstrations were also made with some of the investigation devices.
