Between 15-17 of June, we participated at the first edition of the ๐‹๐š๐ฌ๐ž๐ซ ๐•๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ž๐ฒ ๐ˆ๐ง๐ง๐จ๐ฏ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐จ๐จ๐ญ๐œ๐š๐ฆ๐ฉ, an event organized under the patronage of the Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digitization.

INFRA-ART Spectral Library: a new open access infrastructure for heritage science

The ๐ˆ๐๐…๐‘๐€-๐€๐‘๐“ ๐’๐ฉ๐ž๐œ๐ญ๐ซ๐š๐ฅ ๐‹๐ข๐›๐ซ๐š๐ซ๐ฒ is an open access integrated spectral library, of art-related materials, that was designed by CERTO – INOE 2000 as a digital support tool for research specialists and other heritage-related professionals that work with non- or minimally invasive spectroscopic techniques.

The paper details all the data acquisition processes (for both thermal and 3D digitization) but also the development stages behind the web application.

We are a department within the National Institute for Research and Development for Optoelectronics INOE 2000. Our department carries out researches on advanced techniques for artwork restoration & conservation. Research activities are generated by the new demands from restorers and conservators practice. A significant experience was accumulated in multidisciplinary research projects, and a very special part of the experience and of the gained reputation raised up from various on site collaborations.

Important results were accumulated in laser cleaning, environment control and micro-climate monitoring, non-contact, non and micro-invasive investigation methods, remote fast response techniques for cultural heritage investigation, diagnosis, intervention.
