This project is co-financed by the Executive Agency for Higher Education, Research, Development and Innovation (UEFISCDI) within PN-II-PT-PCCA-2013-4-0495 in the research direction 9 - Socio-humanistic research.
Duration: 07.2014 - 06.2016
The major contributions of this project can be emphasized in the following ideas:
- Creation of a center for cultural and scientific valorization as a cybernetic system for a trans-disciplinary approach, for the smart exploration and exploitation of cultural resources; the generation of numerous contributions (feedback) and knowledge promoting;
- Construction of a virtual archaeodrome for the valuable site from Ulpia Traiana Augusta Dacica Sarmizegetusa, including multi-layered complementary categories of data with online accessibility (e.g.: HERE) - an advanced working method that has been already experimented and demonstrated by the involved researchers);
- Professional standards for scientific archaeological investigation – in accordance with the European legislation

Sarmizegetusa și începuturile Daciei romane
Thursday, the 29th of January, at 11:00 AM the conference "Sarmizegetusa și începuturile Daciei romane" (RO transl.: Sarmizegetusa and the beginning of Roman Dacia) will be organized within the conference series "Istoria Viva". PhD. Ovidiu Țentea will speak in Mihai Viteazul room of the National Museum of Romanian History building, the second floor. Free attedance in the limit of the vacant seats.

First meeting event and project launch
Monday, November the 10th at Deva Museum of Dacian and Roman Civilization there was held a press conference in which were presented the main objectives of the project. Besides the press conference there was also organized the first official meeting between the consortium partners and it was discussed the strategy for the next project stages.
