INOE 2000

The consortium benefits of a joint team of experts in their field of activity. The key persons for each team are presented as follows. Laurențiu-Marian Angheluță is the project leader and is a senior researcher at INOE 2000. Laurențiu is a PhD physicist since 2011 with a thesis on the corroboration of imagistic data obtain with optoelectronic devices. Key features for this project: digital model development (website and database design), scientific photography (certified photographer), photogrammetry, 3D laser scanning. Roxana Rădvan is a senior researcher at INOE 2000 with extensive experience in national and European projects regarding the involvement of modern technology in the conservation and restoration of cultural heritage assets. As the coordinator of the Optoelectronic Techniques and Methods for Conservation and Restoration department in INOE 2000 she will coordinate the project validation commission and user her experience in field campaigns. Lucian Cristian Ratoiu is a PhD student in History and Theory of Art at The National University of Arts from Bucharest since 2014 and is part of INOE 2000. With an educational background in conservation-restoration of mural painting (bachelor and master degree), he is focused on the theoretical aspects that concerns the concept of built cultural heritage, legislation and the correlation between the socio-cultural context and the conservation process. Lucian’s knowledge and experience will contribute with counseling for cultural heritage legislation and conservation-restoration aspects regarding the historical monuments involved in this project. He will be also responsible for multispectral imaging and photographic documentation on the field.

ISER

Alexandru Petculescu is the partner person in charge from ISER. He has a PhD in Biology (Paleontology) and is working with ISER since 1997 dealing with topics related to both the paleontology research of karst areas (especially focused on fossil mammals from cave sediments) and the karst sites monitoring and protection. For the purpose of this project he will contribute with geological and geomorphological field and laboratory studies and geological heritage conservation status assessment and management rules. Andrei Giurginca has a PhD in Biology and is working with ISER since 1996 being involved in topics related to taxonomy, systematics and biogeography of Oniscidea, Diplopoda and Chilopoda of karst and non-karst areas (focusing especially on cave and edaphic species) and ecological comparative studies on the edaphic and subterranean fauna from karst and non-karst areas. For the purpose of this project he will contribute with taxonomic field and laboratory studies and biological heritage conservation status assessment and management rules. Cristian-Mihai Munteanu has a PhD in Geology and is working with ISER dealing with topics related to both the sedimentological research of karst areas (especially focused on cave clastic sediments) and the karst sites monitoring and protection. For the purpose of this project he will contribute with geological field and laboratory studies.
